EDITOR AND EDITORIAL BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES

Editors hold full responsibility for the publication, scheduling, and quality of all editorial content in the journal. All decisions are made in accordance with the journal’s publication policies, copyright and plagiarism guidelines, and relevant legal requirements.

  • Providing guidance to guest editors, authors, and reviewers regarding submission expectations and the peer review process.
  • Mentoring new editorial board members and keeping existing members informed about policy updates and developments in scholarly publishing.
  • Ensuring manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic and intellectual merit, without bias.
  • Ensuring all submitted articles are reviewed by at least two qualified referees and making final publication decisions accordingly.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of authors’ and reviewers’ identities and safeguarding unpublished data.
  • Selecting appropriate reviewers, maintaining a reviewer database, and monitoring reviewer performance.
  • Addressing ethical concerns promptly and following COPE guidelines in cases of suspected misconduct.

GUEST EDITORS RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defining the thematic topic and clarifying the scope and contribution of each article.
  • Providing clear guidance to authors regarding submission expectations and thematic boundaries.
  • Collaborating with the editorial board to select qualified reviewers.
  • Ensuring timely publication of the issue by overseeing draft selection, peer review, final approval, and pre-publication preparations.
  • Writing the introduction to the thematic issue and framing the context for readers.

AUTHORS RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Presenting accurate and objective accounts of research; fraudulent statements are unacceptable.
  • Providing raw data when requested, while protecting confidentiality.
  • Ensuring ethical compliance in studies involving humans, animals, or chemicals.
  • Submitting only original work and avoiding simultaneous submissions.
  • Listing only qualified contributors as authors and acknowledging others.
  • Participating actively in peer review and disclosing conflicts of interest.
  • Reporting errors or inaccuracies in published work promptly.

REVIEWER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing objective, timely, and constructive feedback.
  • Declining review assignments if unqualified or unavailable.
  • Treating manuscripts as confidential and avoiding personal gain from privileged information.
  • Identifying relevant literature not cited and notifying editors of overlap or plagiarism.
  • Maintaining impartiality and avoiding conflicts of interest.

PUBLISHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting editors and the editorial board in following COPE guidelines.
  • Ensuring editorial independence and providing a legal framework for autonomous decisions.
  • Protecting intellectual property and copyright, taking action against infringements.
  • Managing corporate identity, promotion, and administrative tasks.
  • Investigating misconduct and issuing corrections or retractions when needed.
  • Ensuring long-term preservation and accessibility of scholarly content.

READERS RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respect copyright and avoid unauthorized sharing of full-text articles.
  • Report suspected ethical violations, plagiarism, or errors to ploverpage@gmail.com.
  • Engage critically and responsibly with research to support dissemination of credible scholarly content.
