Author Guidelines

Strategic Management in the Digital Economy (SMDE)

Submission System

Manuscripts should be submitted online via our system:

Note: Authors may submit manuscripts via email (ploverpage@gmail.com) only if they encounter issues with the online submission system. Email submissions should include all required files and clearly indicate the manuscript type.

Types of Articles

SMDE accepts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Perspectives & Methodological Papers

⚠️ Authors must clearly indicate the article type during submission.

Minimum Content Requirements

  • At least 2 figures and 2 tables
  • Figures and tables must be numbered, cited in the text, and have descriptive captions
  • Manuscripts should be prepared using Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX

Similarity and AI Content Policy

  • Similarity Index: < 30%
  • AI-generated content: < 30%

Manuscripts exceeding these limits may be returned or rejected.

Peer Review

Single-Blind Review: In the single-blind review model, the identities of the reviewers are kept confidential from the authors, while the reviewers know the authors’ identities. SMDE uses this system with a minimum of two independent expert reviewers. Final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief. For more details, please see our Peer Review Policy.

  2. Author names & affiliations (submitted separately to maintain single-blind review)
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords (3–6)
  5. Introduction
  6. Literature Review
  7. Research Methodology
  8. Results
  9. Discussion (Results and Discussion may be combined)
  10. Conclusion
  11. Acknowledgements
  12. Conflict of Interest Statement
  13. References

Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear English (British or American spelling, consistent throughout)

Ethical Standards

  • Research involving humans or organizations must include an ethical approval statement
  • Manuscripts must follow COPE guidelines

Submission Declaration

  • The manuscript is original and unpublished
  • It is not under consideration elsewhere
  • All authors approve the submission
  • Ethical and publishing standards are met
